Taekwondo Form Basic 2, also known as Poomsae Kicho Dool (기초도2), is the second form in the Taekwondo curriculum. This form consists of basic, fundamental techniques and postures that are integral for progressing further in Taekwondo. The form focuses on the basics of movement including kicking, blocking, punching and defending against an opponent. It also emphasizes proper body alignment and posture which are essential for performing more advanced techniques correctly. By regularly practicing Form Basic 2, practitioners can develop strength and power to enhance their overall performance in Taekwondo.

Form Basic 2 follows the standard “I” pattern Through practice and repetition, practitioners can become comfortable performing each technique correctly so that they can transition smoothly between movements. As practitioners become more experienced with the form, they should aim to perform each movement with power and accuracy in order to maximize their potential in Taekwondo.

    1. 2. Step forward with the right foot into a Front Stance, Right Hi Punch
